Networx is a powerful free network monitoring tool for windows. This is simple and absolutely a free ware. You can use it to collect bandwidth usage data and measure the speed of your Internet or any other network connection. NetWorx can help you identify possible sources of network problems, ensure that you do not exceed the bandwidth limits specified by your ISP, or track down suspicious network activity characteristic of Trojan horses and hacker attacks.Usage reports with export to a variety of file formats, including Excel, MS Word and HTML.I downloaded the installer from here (a portable version is available here) it’s just a 1.7 MB zip file. After installation Networx icon is available on the system tray. Double clicking on the icon brings a tabbed window of usage statistics, different tabs for different times spans.
Networx includes advanced tools netstat, ping and trace route. Give the ip address of a site and get information about host.
Set up Quota limits for monitor usage statistics and stop after your daily quota expires.
The settings menu items can tweak the minute aspects of the program.
Many languages are supported.
I have personally used and found Networx very useful tool so I recommend this freeware for everybody. It is outstanding in it’s field and it really Worx!!!
